Leibster Blog Award

Thank you to Carolynn, over at Carolynn's Recipe Box for bestowing the honor of this award on me!  Every blogger knows how great it feels to find someone has enjoyed one of your recipes or posts.  We all go through harried daily life trying to keep our heads above water.  It takes intention and time to stop and recognize those who provide us with daily inspiration and juice.  The Liebster Award was set up to honor small blogs with 200 or less followers.  It reminds me of a book I read with my children about "filling someone's bucket" everyday.  We all need nice things to happen to us to fill our bucket and feel happy...when our buckets are empty, our hearts are sad. Here is one small way to fill some bloggers bucket: the Liebster Award!!

Here are 5 blogs that I follow that have fewer than 200 followers, please take the time to check them out (in no special order!)!

The Tasty Alternative
The Gluten Free Pantry
The Willing Cook
Maid In Alaska
Welcoming Kitchen

The Liebster award originated in Germany. The word “Liebster” is a term of endearment meaning "dearest", "beloved" or "favourite". The aim of the award is to bring attention to blogs with fewer than 200 followers.

To accept the award:

  1. Thank your Liebster Blog Award presenter on your blog.
  2. Link back to the blogger who awarded you.
  3. Give your top 5 picks for the award
  4. Inform your top 5 by leaving a comment on their blog.
  5. Post the award on your blog.
