Organizing Tip: Maximize Your Drawer Space

Here's a before picture
This is one of those really gratifying organizing projects.  It takes almost no time to complete, can double your drawer space, and makes everything super easy to find. For whatever reason, almost everyone of us piles our clothing into the drawers so that only the top item is visible.  By turning everything on it's side like a file cabinet, you maximize the square footage of every drawer and every item is now visible with a quick glance.  There is no special fold here, use whichever fold you already do and tweak it to be almost as high as the depth of your drawer.  Pictures speak louder than words, so without further ado...take a look and start tweaking!!

And after: Guess I need some more clothes!

  3. What a wonderful idea! I am going to do this to my 4 year old's drawers this weekend. My husband and son can never find matching outfits, perhaps this will help!
