Money-Saving Tip: Daily Deal Websites
In more recent history, there has been an explosion in daily deal websites. A lot of people have heard of Groupon, but there are LOADS out there. The concept is simple: local and national businesses offer services or products for a limited time at some sort of deal price. Every site focuses on different things, but I wanted to share with you some of my favorite ones (this is far from an exhaustive list). They send me a daily emails to inform me of the day's deal. I frequently get things for 50% or more off. Some really great ones recently: Fandango offered 2 adult movie tickets for $7; a $120 Ergobaby Carrier for $68; professional family pictures taken inside our home for $89 (includes 3 prints), hair highlights at a local salon for $27, $7.50 for $15 of food at Baja Fresh. So get signed up and start saving some moolah! One word of warning: try to stick to buying things you would already be spending money on!!
