All Season Interest Patio Pot
I worked for sometime to put together a pot that had 4 season interest that I liked. Finally! A combo that worked! In the dredges of winter, it is so nice to always have something beautiful to look at, especially for this gardener. Empty pots of dirt do little to foster the happiness that plants bring me year round, and I doubt they do for you either! Pick a pot with good drainage (pots with no drainage are no bueno! The plants roots sit in muck and drown). This particular pot has plants that are all pretty drought tolerant too, so in the summer when my paver patio feels a bit more like the Sahara than the Pacific Northwest, these plants all hold up well without daily water...they're not picky....my kind of plants! So take the plunge my friend, you won't be disappointed...and no more buying new plants every year for the same pot...double bonus! Here are are the names of my perennial evergreen plants:
